The circle of clothes

Wearing blazer from Isabel Marant, sunglasses from Karen Walker, denim from Mango and sandals from Sam Edelman.

I have a new favorite piece in my wardrobe, my Isabel Marant blazer. The best thing about this particular blazer is that I got it from my friend Helena (founder of Noordinarysuit), She hadn't used it for years and knew l liked it and kindly let me inherit (Thank you H !)  I absolutely love when fashion has a long life like in this case the blazer.  Before moving houses I also gave away clothes, shoes, and bags I no longer used and it really made me happy to see how excited someone else got for them.

This makes me wanna organize an exchange day where friends bring stuff they don't longer want and exchange it for something else. Sustainable indeed!

behind the scenes

Behind the scenes on the shoot when I was styling for ecommerce Noordinarysuit shot at the lemonade factory in London.

A few days ago I styled the new collection for Noordinarysuit, and this time I snapped some behind the scenes photos. Here I am going through the looks (and trying on the blazer from the new collection that is PERFECT) and organizing them according to the different backdrops the photographer is gonna use.

Le mood board. Like this, we know what kind of poses, feel and style in general the photographer Paddy wants.

The setup. We shoot in probably the most beautiful studio in London; The Lemonade Factory. It has a lot of space, newly renovated with natural light shining through, what else can you ask for?

The makeup artist table. So many products I didn't even know existed. I'm not a big makeup girl so for me this is a non-explored universe I have no clue about. I did manage to get some insider tip about how to create that dewy eyeshadow look, the answer is pawpaw balm, a simple product you can get HERE.

And more clothes, this time on the "done-shooting-rail", getting there. Yay.

I will let you know as soon as the work from the shoot it out and share it here on the blog. Let me know if you like post like this and want to follow me more in my day to day life!

Rodebjer and Noordinarysuit – My scandinavian holiday look

Holiday outfit post from a roof top in Turkey. Wearing my printed wide leg trousers from Swedish brand Rodebjer and my top from Swedish brand Minimarket, a total scandi look from a Scandinavian Fashion blogger.

Hi, from the roof top in Turkey again, the pictures were taken on one of out last nights in paradise. In summer and warmer climate, it's easy to just wear dresses all the time so we  (read me) tend to forget about all the amazing summer trousers out there. Especially if you have a kick-ass top to go with like the one I'm wearing from Noordinarysuit.

I think that trousers and a top give you a completely different look compared to a dress, it gives you a more tomboy look that I actually prefer most of the times. I got those ones from the Swedish brand Rodebjer, can't help myself I love Scandinavian brands, a true Swede I guess...

I just love how the trousers are cut and open up in the front, it makes the trousers floaty when you walk, so beautiful. Now I need to start thinking what to wear when heading to Green Man festival on Friday!

The top is so versatile and looks great styled with a tee or shirt underneath, check out how you can style it on the link below.

No Ordinary Suit SS17 photoshoot video

A few days ago I was styling the Spring/Summer collection for No Ordinary Suit, and here is a little teaser of what will be coming up on the shop soon. I can't really explain how happy it makes me to see your vision become realized, it's something magic when you see a result of a great teamwork. And it sure helps that Paddy, our photographer also is a master of filming and editing videos. This clip makes me want spring now!

And let's talk about the collection! I love it all, I already put my hand on one piece already. Can you guess which one?

Casual Monday’s @ the NoOrdinarySuit Headoffice

marantIt's a nice thing that I can dress casually in the office on Monday's, I'm aware that it is Friday today but I haven't had a chance to post this outfit until now. Very busy week with a trip to Paris squeezed in in the middle of the week.

Anyway, I really do love my new ripped Levis ReDone and if I could I would never take them off.  I also found my old Isabel Marant tee in my wardrobe in which I am falling in love with it again. Linen tees are the best! And of course my Acne Pistol boots, what can a say? A true classic!

Head of Styling for No Ordinary Suit – Interview

nosintervju2

Photo taken in No Ordinary Suit's office in Shoreditch

It is finally time to announce my exciting new role as Head of Styling and Content for No Ordinary Suit. Yay, I'm SUPER excited. No Ordinary Suit (Or NOS to simplify the writing) is an online retailer based in the UK who stock Scandinavian brands, brands that I have known and loved for years but that have for some reason never hit the UK market. Until now that is!

NOS was founded 2016 by Helena Balls, Brittish citizen but born and raised in Sweden just like me. Last year I freelanced and styled a shoot for her website and here I am now, working side by side with this lovely power women!

The idea and vision about NOS is to bring UK some quirky business and office wear (And everyday wear as well of course), and I'm sorry if I step on someones toe but we Scandi do that the best, the simple classic pieces with and extra touch and edge.

I will still be staying with my dear Acne Studios it's just now a matter of balancing the two. I can do it.

Find out more about my new role and other fashion related stuff in the interview on HERE !!!
