Beach dreaming

Sandals from Sam Edelman, beach towel from Toteme and silk bag from The Row, perfect beach friends.

I'm a person who thinks about everything in the very detail. Like a beach towel, I become a bit obsessed with finding the right one for a perfect beach look. The Toteme one is definitely high up on the list, especially paired with The Row silk bag and the sandals from Sam Edelman above. Now all I need is a beach.

Rodebjer and Noordinarysuit – My scandinavian holiday look

Holiday outfit post from a roof top in Turkey. Wearing my printed wide leg trousers from Swedish brand Rodebjer and my top from Swedish brand Minimarket, a total scandi look from a Scandinavian Fashion blogger.

Hi, from the roof top in Turkey again, the pictures were taken on one of out last nights in paradise. In summer and warmer climate, it's easy to just wear dresses all the time so we  (read me) tend to forget about all the amazing summer trousers out there. Especially if you have a kick-ass top to go with like the one I'm wearing from Noordinarysuit.

I think that trousers and a top give you a completely different look compared to a dress, it gives you a more tomboy look that I actually prefer most of the times. I got those ones from the Swedish brand Rodebjer, can't help myself I love Scandinavian brands, a true Swede I guess...

I just love how the trousers are cut and open up in the front, it makes the trousers floaty when you walk, so beautiful. Now I need to start thinking what to wear when heading to Green Man festival on Friday!

The top is so versatile and looks great styled with a tee or shirt underneath, check out how you can style it on the link below.

Beach dress from Monki and a beautiful Turkish landscape

Wearing my red and white stripy oversized dress from Swedish brand Monki in the a beautiful Turkish landscape.

I still feel after a few weeks back in the city that my mind can't really pick up on the city paste that I normally was used to. Imagine how much holiday actually does for you? I'm always quite effective but many times during the day I find myself daydreaming away which is not at all like me. It's slightly frustrating and nice at the same time. Weird to say the least.

So I will continue feeding you with holiday pictures, just because I can ( The beauty of being your own publisher) and simply because I have so much more to share.

Wearing my red and white stripy oversized dress from Swedish brand Monki in the a beautiful Turkish landscape.

I wore this dress from Swedish brand Monki every day when going to the beach. It's made from 100 % cotton (Love!) so very breathable in 35 degrees and oversized so not too tight in the waist, also a plus in a hot climate. It's stripy aswell, I always loved stripes on holidays for some reason and I guess I'm not the only one. Can we also talk about the backdrop?? How beautiful is the Turkish landscape on the coast side, like a postcard!

If you are interested in the dress you can get it HERE

My holiday look from Next – A yellow dress and a straw bag

Wearing my mustard yellow dress with an open back and my straw bag, both from next. Photos taken on a roof top in South of Turkey.

When Next asked me to pick out an outfit for my summer holiday, it didn't take me long to make a choice. The yellow dress pops out like no other color during summer and the fact that it is open on the back makes it perfect for an evening out or dinner. Those photos were actually taken just before heading to a diner, I kinda wish I always had a beautiful roof top like this one to snap some photos on.

For me the straw bag is just a must on your holiday, I brought mine to the beach, to dinner and to any other adventure we might have done. The natural material just makes it perfect on holiday when spending a lot of time in nature, plus it matches the dress quite well.

I always thought I couldn't wear colors like this one due to my light skin tone, but let that be the lesson of the day, to just try things and don't listen to rules! One of my favorite things with summer is when you just put a lipstick on a sunkissed skin and no other makeup is needed. Goals.

Missing Turkey a lot when seeing those pictures, luckily I have South of France coming up in a month! Lucky lucky me.

My holiday moodboard and my upcoming holiday plans

moodhol

So I just got back from a week long holiday in Sweden. It was perfect in so many ways, first I celebrated love at a friends wedding and later I hung out with my family for days. So much love in one week.

Yet, I can't stop thinking about this summer's upcoming holiday plans. But my thoughts goes a bit longer than just laying on the beach or what even one might be doing on vacation. I'm thinking of my holidays in colors, outfit, and photos. It might sound a bit crazy and I can't really explain it neither, I guess I'm a very visual person who just happened to imagine things in beautiful pictures. Right now I'm drawn to the mood, colors and looks on the picture above, exactly how I image my holiday look.

My second holiday will be in south of Turkey to hang out with my boyfriend and his family and the third one in the south of France with my parents, a place that I can almost call my second home. I'm actually so lucky to be able to travel and have so many places to call home in Europe.

Beach and holiday essentials for the summer

Untitled-1

I'm really feeling summer vibes today, all of you who follows me on Instagram knows I'm currently in Sweden, and let me tell you it's 20 degrees and sun! So naturally, I'm holiday daydreaming, especially when it comes to styling and dressing.

I'm always drawn to patterns and natural materials in summer, as most people I guess. I literally can't wait to put my feets on a beach with sand beneath my toes, but while doing that I would love to look stylish as well. Above you can find my wishlist for my summer adventures. Summer come quickly!

holiday outfit post

storiesdress

To be honest I haven't  really given my way of dressing a lot of thoughts this week here in France, I basically go to the beach and back wearing my ultimate holiday outfit; The bikini.

My mum snapped this photo of me when we one day visited a little village near by and I "dressed up" in this slip dress I got just before my holiday. It is the perfect LTB ( little black dress) and in London  I will pair it up with a pair of boots and a leather-jacket for a less warmer climate.

céline and nails

celineTomorow is the big take-off to South of France and today I found myself packing, washing and getting ready for my week holiday. One of the task today is to get my toes into vacay-mood by adding a bit of color. Inspired by this Céline ad I kind of want to go towards orange tones, right now I'm leaning towards the far right one  a mix between orange and red. Keep checking in here to see which one I choose. And yes, O.P.I is by far one of the best nail polish brands, just so you know.

See you in Côte d'azur!

Cote d’Azur look

janebirkinstyleIn less then ten days I'm once again heading over to South of France for the second time this year (lucky me) for a week long much needed holiday. This time you will find me on the beach with a book in my hand, all week long, this is a promise. I will make one detour to the local market, where they stock everything from food to clothes and things you didn't even know you needed in your life. This time I'm on a mission to find the three objects shown my mood-board above. A straw hat, a straw bag and a pair of new sandals, preferably  the K Jaques ones from Saint Tropez. Love them. I need to get my Jane Birkin style going.

Soon, counting down.
