Hi, from the roof top in Turkey again, the pictures were taken on one of out last nights in paradise. In summer and warmer climate, it’s easy to just wear dresses all the time so we (read me) tend to forget about all the amazing summer trousers out there. Especially if you have a kick-ass top to go with like the one I’m wearing from Noordinarysuit.
I think that trousers and a top give you a completely different look compared to a dress, it gives you a more tomboy look that I actually prefer most of the times. I got those ones from the Swedish brand Rodebjer, can’t help myself I love Scandinavian brands, a true Swede I guess…
I just love how the trousers are cut and open up in the front, it makes the trousers floaty when you walk, so beautiful. Now I need to start thinking what to wear when heading to Green Man festival on Friday!
The top is so versatile and looks great styled with a tee or shirt underneath, check out how you can style it on the link below.

I still feel after a few weeks back in the city that my mind can’t really pick up on the city paste that I normally was used to. Imagine how much holiday actually does for you? I’m always quite effective but many times during the day I find myself daydreaming away which is not at all like me. It’s slightly frustrating and nice at the same time. Weird to say the least.
So I will continue feeding you with holiday pictures, just because I can ( The beauty of being your own publisher) and simply because I have so much more to share.
I wore this dress from Swedish brand Monki every day when going to the beach. It’s made from 100 % cotton (Love!) so very breathable in 35 degrees and oversized so not too tight in the waist, also a plus in a hot climate. It’s stripy aswell, I always loved stripes on holidays for some reason and I guess I’m not the only one. Can we also talk about the backdrop?? How beautiful is the Turkish landscape on the coast side, like a postcard!

When Next asked me to pick out an outfit for my summer holiday, it didn’t take me long to make a choice. The yellow dress pops out like no other color during summer and the fact that it is open on the back makes it perfect for an evening out or dinner. Those photos were actually taken just before heading to a diner, I kinda wish I always had a beautiful roof top like this one to snap some photos on.
For me the straw bag is just a must on your holiday, I brought mine to the beach, to dinner and to any other adventure we might have done. The natural material just makes it perfect on holiday when spending a lot of time in nature, plus it matches the dress quite well.
I always thought I couldn’t wear colors like this one due to my light skin tone, but let that be the lesson of the day, to just try things and don’t listen to rules! One of my favorite things with summer is when you just put a lipstick on a sunkissed skin and no other makeup is needed. Goals.
Missing Turkey a lot when seeing those pictures, luckily I have South of France coming up in a month! Lucky lucky me.

Me and Joanna (founder of J.WLRY Sthlm) meet a couple of years ago in Paris, both Swedes in a big city where anything was possible but also where there were many bumps on the road. One thing we always shared even in hard times was our love for fashion and design, so it makes me proud as a friend to see her creating something really beautiful that I constantly carry around my finger. Instead of me writing things about the ring I thought I would share a few words from the designer herself below.
ME: Hi Joanna, Are you ready for three quick questions? What are you wearing right now?
JOANNA: Hi, sure go ahead! I am wearing my lovely knitted crop trousers from COS. Together with a top from Malene Birger and a sweater from Wood Wood. My high heels from Rodebjer I am just dreaming of wearing, the pregnancy only lets me have my New Balance sneakers.
ME: What are you doing today?
JOANNA: I am organizing the rest of the week’s jewelry making and planning a client meeting, and kind of always sketching on some new exciting ideas while listening to music…
ME: I absolutely love the ring Lights Off from your collection, can you tell me more about where you get the inspiration from when creating your jewelry?
JOANNA: I’m so happy to hear that! My inspiration source comes mostly from minimalism and Art Deco objects and the artist Hervé Van Der Straeten that I got familiar with when I studied fashion in Paris. I can’t get enough of his work.
Thank you Joanna and good luck with J.WLRY Sthlm and the soon to be here baby!
